This doll was based on my favorite fairy tale by Andersen. 
When I was 5 years old, I asked my mother to read it to me every night and I cried every night too. At that age, the image of the Little Mermaid laid the foundation for all the female characters I created—a kind, touching, loyal, and very gentle girl. In one way or another, all my dolls reflect this influence.
